AscendX Ventures is a team of serial entrepreneurs from Switzerland. A decade of building, scaling and exiting companies. We started AscendX because we saw what AI could do for businesses willing to move fast — and built everything we offer on what we’ve learned the hard way.

AscendX was built on a simple idea: the best businesses of the next decade will be built by small teams with AI, not large ones without it.

We know because we’ve been building companies for over a decade. And we’re doing it right now with AI.

Our founding team has built, scaled and exited multiple ventures across Switzerland and beyond. Across fundraising and exits, we’ve moved over USD 20 million. We’re operators.

Today we apply that same builder DNA to a new era. We build fully operational companies from scratch, bring them to market through our yournicorn platform and work towards exits for acquired ventures within 12 months. Everything runs on HybriqsOS, our Agentic Business Operating System.

Patrick Degelo

Founding Partner, AscendX Ventures

Entrepreneur, engineer and process architect with 30 years of industry experience. He has led development, production and process projects on three continents, from small businesses to international industrial companies. As a board member and chairman, he advises companies on strategy, growth, compliance and hardware development.

Michael Breiter

Founding Partner, AscendX Ventures

Serial entrepreneur with over 15 years of company-building experience. As co-founder and chairman, he bootstrapped Calenso into a leading European enterprise scheduling solution, serving over 50,000 business customers including Helvetia and Sanitas. A double-digit-million exit in 2024 was followed by a merger with JRNI.

  • Co-founder and CEO of Calopad (MDR/FDA medical technology), with over CHF 4 million in capital
